Services
Wedding florals
From bouquets to full ceremony and reception installations, Mythology Floral Art works with couples and wedding planners to design flowers that feel personal, cohesive and unforgettable across every part of the day.
Weddings are made to order, never one size fits all. Florals can include bouquets, ceremony pieces, centerpieces for tables and statement pieces for bars or entrances. Couples choose only what feels right for their day.
Private and social events
Showers, dinners, milestone celebrations and intimate gatherings: large and small-scale florals and installations that transform a venue or a private residence.
Corporate events and brand activations
Commercial events, launches, photo walls and brand activations designed to make a statement, reinforce a brand's aesthetic and give guests something beautiful to remember and share.
Moss walls and botanical sculptures
Custom preserved moss walls and botanical sculptures, designed, fabricated and installed in house for corporate, commercial and residential interiors across Ontario. The studio works with designers or starts from scratch.
Moss options: a single moss variety (many colours), mixed moss (layered textures and tones), or mixed moss with preserved foliage (the fullest, most sculptural option). Walls can be framed in wood or frameless, with custom acrylic, wooden or metallic lettering, logos and artwork.
Beyond flat walls, the studio designs freestanding, hanging and wall-mounted three-dimensional botanical sculptures. Designs are drafted and rendered to scale in 3D modelling software before fabrication.
How it works
Weddings and events
- Inquire. Share the date, venue and a brief description of what you're imagining. The studio confirms availability and whether it's the right fit. Inquiries and initial consultations are complimentary.
- Consultation. A brief phone or video call to discuss floral needs, aesthetic, colour story and mood, and what is possible within the budget.
- Design proposal. A mood board and an itemized quote. Booking clients receive a full design package, refined until it feels right.
- The day. Design, delivery, installation and tear down are all handled, in coordination with the venue and planner.
Moss walls and botanical installations
- Meet. Work out which green solution suits the space, the budget and, for commercial clients, ESG goals.
- Design. Scaled drawings and 3D renderings, so the piece can be seen in the space before anything is cut.
- Fabricate. Made in house from sustainably sourced moss and foliage, hand-crafted piece by piece.
- Install. Full installation, from prepping the space to securely mounting the work, with minimal disruption.

About the founder
Mythology Floral Art Inc. was founded by Natalie Schiabel, whose background spans Architectural Design, Fine Arts and a Master's in Landscape Architecture from the University of Toronto. Her architectural training also makes for smooth collaboration with designers and contractors.
Natalie keeps a professional art practice, creating custom paintings for private, corporate and commercial clients and teaching art classes around Toronto. She has also led floral design workshops, such as a garden-style vase workshop at Gairloch Gardens in Oakville in 2022 (Oakville News listing).

Use the inquiry form at mythologyfloral.com/contact (all project types) or the wedding inquiry form at mythologyfloral.com/weddings-events, email info@mythologyfloral.com, or call 416-843-5106. No. Preserved moss no longer grows or dies and stays as it is. The plants are preserved naturally, using glycerin and water-soluble dyes.
Does a preserved moss wall need maintenance?
No. Preserved moss and foliage is completely maintenance-free. It is preserved with glycerin, which replaces the water once in the plant.
How long does a preserved moss wall last?
8+ years in the right environment: a neutral humidity of around 40 to 60%, out of direct sunlight, and not in direct contact with AC or furnace fans.
Where can moss walls be installed?
Interior spaces only. Rain, moisture and temperature extremes would damage the moss outdoors.
Does Mythology Floral Art make moss walls for homes?
Yes. Moss walls and botanical sculptures are made for residential spaces as well as corporate and commercial ones.
What moss options are available?
Three directions, in a wide range of colours: a single moss variety, mixed moss with layered textures and tones, or mixed moss with preserved foliage, the fullest and most sculptural option.

Yes. Walls can be framed in wood or frameless, and the studio provides and installs custom acrylic, wooden or metallic lettering, logos and artwork, with the capacity to CNC mill, laser cut and hand carve.
Does Mythology Floral Art work with interior designers?
Yes. It collaborates with designers or starts from scratch, and provides scaled drawings and 3D renderings. Accurate to-scale designs mean precise measurements and smooth coordination with contractors.

Yes. Moss walls and biophilic sculptures can contribute up to 5 BOMA BEST points (office; up to 3 for retail and residential), up to 39 points toward the BOMA Certificate of Excellence / TOBY (office), up to .55 to .81 Fitwel points depending on property type, and two WELL baseline questions plus up to 4 points.
